The Way

 

I was asked to do a rendition of the popular “Bridge Diagram” by one of the ministry’s supporters.

I made Christ Himself, rather than the cross, the bridge in an attempt to highlight the personal nature both of Christ’s sacrifice and our receiving Him as our Lord and Savior. Christ is represented as brilliantly white to highlight his holiness/deity, even as the wounds remind us of His humanity. And He stands in the flames between man and God because – on the cross and for His Bride – He bore the wrath with which Hell burns.

lastly, the wounds on his hands are the “doors” to the bridge because it is by His wounds that we are healed…
