Psalm 119:28, “My soul melts away for sorrow; strengthen me according to your word!”
The fact that this is in the Bible means that the saints will sometimes endure soul-dissolving sorrows….and that when this happens, our sovereign, sorrow-bearing Lord is sufficient for us in it.
